17:40"Hands-On" Skills Enchantment Training

Purpose
The course will focus on the cardiac anatomy relevant for electrophysiologists. After attending this course, participants will have a greater understanding of the key cardiac anatomical structures involved necessary for device implantation, endo/epicardial mapping and catheter ablation.

Course Description
Success or failure for the contemporary interventional electrophysiologist depends on the twin pillars of cardiac electroanatomy and electrophysiology.  In this unique course, participants will have hands on and didactic instruction on the key anatomic factors that are relevant to arrhythmogenesis, catheter manipulation, and ablation avoiding collateral injury; manipulation of catheters and leads between and in a cardiac chamber, as well as the pericardial space and cardiac venous anatomy, will be discussed. The course will include didactic presentations and anatomy Wet Lab.
